Dr. Carina Crucho is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB), Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. Alongside her research, Carina teaches practical organic chemistry at the Lisbon School of Health Technology, part of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon.

Carina has served as a board member of the Young Chemists Group (GQJ) of the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ). She was also the Treasurer and Portuguese Delegate at the European Young Chemists Network (EYCN), where she promoted networking among young chemists in Portuguese research centers and represented Portuguese young chemists in international affairs.
